This Privacy Policy explains how Instruct, a sole proprietorship of Tamanna Verma based in Ambala, Haryana (“Instruct”, “SHUBHRA”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, stores and shares personal data through this website and SHUBHRA IRP, our software for jewellery businesses. It covers website visitors, jewellers and their staff who use SHUBHRA IRP, and the agents who work with us.
Information we collect
We collect different information depending on how you interact with us:
- Website visitors — your name, business/shop name, phone or WhatsApp number, city, email address, any message you send through the contact or demo form, and a referral code if you enter one.
- Jewellers on SHUBHRA IRP — business details, GSTIN, owner/contact name, phone, email, shop address, and the billing details needed to invoice you.
- Agents — full name, address, PAN and, where collected, Aadhaar for KYC and onboarding; bank account or UPI details for commission payouts; and photographs of identity documents you upload.
- Payments — order amount, plan, EMI schedule where applicable, and payment status. We never collect or store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials; payments are processed directly by Razorpay.
- Verification — when you verify an email or phone number, we generate a one-time code, send it to that email or number, and record whether it was verified. The code itself is discarded once it expires or is used.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange product demonstrations.
- To create and run your SHUBHRA IRP account, invoice you, and provide support.
- To verify identity for KYC and onboarding, and to prepare and send agreements for signature.
- To calculate and pay agent commissions.
- To send OTPs, transactional emails and service updates.
- To meet our accounting, tax and GST obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share data with
We share data with a small number of service providers, strictly to run the service. Each receives only what it needs for its function and may not use your data for its own purposes:
- Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay handles your card and bank details directly; we never receive or store them.
- SignYu, powered by eMudhra (a CCA-licensed Electronic Signature Provider) — Aadhaar-based electronic signing of agreements.
- Fast2SMS — delivery of SMS one-time passwords for phone verification.
- Supabase — our database, authentication and file storage provider.
- Vercel — hosting for this website and SHUBHRA IRP.
Beyond these, we do not share personal data with anyone except where required by law.
How we protect it
Aadhaar numbers are encrypted before storage; only the last four digits are ever shown on screen. Identity documents, payment proofs and signed agreements are kept in a private file store — nothing is publicly reachable, and every view happens through a short-lived, permission-checked link. Access inside our team is role-based, so an employee only sees the data their role needs. See our Security page for more detail.
Cookies
This website only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in to SHUBHRA IRP and the admin console. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we are required to under Indian tax, accounting and other applicable law. Where there is no legal requirement to retain it, we delete or anonymise it on request.
Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a Data Principal under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
- correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase data we no longer have a reason to keep;
- withdraw consent you previously gave, where our use of your data depends on it.
To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a grievance about how we handle your data, write to contact@shubhrajewels.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, in line with the Act.
Children
SHUBHRA IRP and this website are meant for business owners, staff and agents. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our product or obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
